Logo
DCG’s logo is a key part of our brand identity. This section outlines how to use our default logo and its approved variations to ensure consistency across all internal and external materials.
Default Logo
The default logo should be used in most cases, especially on light or white backgrounds.
- Designed for use on light or white backgrounds
- Recommended use: Documents, presentations, email signatures, and web pages with light backgrounds.
Screen reader description (copy/paste as needed):
The Dovetail Communication Group logo shows the word ‘DOVETAIL’ in bold black letters, with a light blue triangle inside the letter ‘V’. Underneath, it says ‘Communication Group’ in smaller black text.
Best Practices
To keep our brand consistent and professional, please follow these guidelines when using the DCG logo:
Do Not Modify the Logo
- Do not distort or stretch the logo, always maintain its original proportions.
- Do not crop any part of the logo, including the globe or text.
- Do not change the colors, only use approved versions (default, dark background, monochrome).
- Do not add effects like shadows, outlines, or filters.
Respect Clear Space
- Always leave space around the logo equal to the height of the logo on all sides.
- This ensures the logo is readable and not crowded by other elements.
Use the Right Version
- Use the default logo on light backgrounds.
- Use the dark background version on dark or black backgrounds.
- Use monochrome versions only when color printing isn’t available or for minimal designs.
Use Approved Files
- Always use the official logo files provided in the brand kit.
- Do not recreate or redraw the logo.
